Holly's Resort

Let me tell you about Hollys Resort!! This Resort is nestled in the Pines and big Oaks of Minnesota. A beautiful setting on one of the best fishing Lakes around. The grounds are always emaculate and there is a playground for kids along with a swimming beach!! We also love the big fire pit! Now they have added five beautiful Villas and a Pool!! They are continuously upgrading their Resort every year! The cabins are always so clean and inviting! We have had our Family Reunion there for years. The owners there, Steve and Barb are some of the most helpful, friendly and kind people you could ever meet!! We've made a lot of wonderful memories at Hollys Resort and we'd highly recommend this family friendly Resort!!

We had a great weekend staying at the resort. We stayed in the villas, which have direct access to the outdoor pool. The weather was great for the pool, but windy by the lake. So I was super thankful for the choice. One thing to note is that they don't supply towels, shampoo, and soap for the bathrooms. You need to bring your own. They did have the option to rent a boat lift if you bring your own boat.

Went there for a family reunion had 4 of the 5 villas and one cabin. It is a very nice resort. Pool was very nice.

Our family has attended Holly's Resort for well over 20 years. It's the one week in the year that our whole family is together. Through generations, it's the favorite week of the year. Thanks to Steve and Barb and all the others that have maintained the resort!! We LOVE it!!

My husband, dogs, and I stayed in a lakefront cabin for three nights, which was a beginning-of-the-summer made reservation for the only time available. Five stars is not enough for me to give this resort. Barb and Steve and the caretakers are exceptionally kind people, the cabin was pristinely clean, and all of the amenities were well-kept and enjoyable. This was a perfect getaway for us, only better if we could’ve stayed longer. Ottertail Lake is a huge, sandy bottom lake with a very gradual change in depth from the shoreline making it a great lake to play around in the water. We floated around in our rings, swam with the dogs, and waded around the lake for hours. And no like itch!! We will return every year and longer if possible!

We rented a two bedroom villa. It was 260 a night. You need to bring your own towels (bath, and hand towels for kitchen) and a pot holder. There is no hand soap in bathroom. The place is very clean and staff are willing to help with your needs. I just feel that we should have towels and handsoap for the (260 a night)

Holly’s Resort is a slice of heaven nestled on a beautiful, swim friendly lake. Barb & Steve work very hard to ensure you are comfortable and settled in for a great upcoming week. There are activities for everyone in the family—volleyball, bon fire pits, pool for the little ones who just aren’t ready for the lake, playground, pontoons, kayaks, the list goes on! The cabins are perfect for a summer getaway with just your own family or better yet your extended family or friends. Our family has been coming here for over 20 years and we wouldn’t choose anywhere else!

We love Holly's. We have been visiting 2 or 3 times a year since we moved to North Dakota in 2022. We love to gather friends and family here, because we want to share this amazing getaway that is so special to us. Cabins are so beautifully decorated, lots of green space, playground, boats, pool and right on the lake front. And pet friendly! Our latest visit here in 2024 was in September, and we are booked already for 2025. The owners, Barb and Steve, are amazing - warm, friendly, and go above and beyond. We feel like family here!
